Anand Chawra:
Anand co-founded Innovative Ventures International in 2007. His areas of investment are Real Estate, Small Business Initiatives, IT enabled services and Web Enterprises. Anand also leads Innven's China & India investment initiative. He presently sits on the board of 2 companies and is a board observer of 2 additional companies. Anand came to Innovative Ventures from Hutchison 3G Australia. At Hutchison he worked for Yin Foo Poi, the program director for IT services as a lead programs manager.
Prior to Hutchison 3G Australia, Anand worked in the Wireless & IT industry, first at Reliance Infocomm of Reliance Industries India's largest private enterprise, and then at AAPT Sydney (The Telecom NZ's Australian Arm). At Reliance Infocomm, Anand started as a Product Manger co-developing and conceptualizing the initial release of Enterprise Wireless Applications on the soon to be launched Reliance Mobile services and later as a Solutions Manager , launching several exceptionally popular Mobile Consumer Applications on the Reliance Network.
Anand, who also holds a Real Estate License, used his expansive knowledge of the property market in Sydney and Melbourne to partner with key industry players to establish Newcomers Australia, in 2007, as a boutique Corporate Accommodation Firm. Today, the firm has valued clients such as SAP Australia, Tata Consultancy Services & Wipro Australia.
Anand has an MBA (Hons) from Ecole National Des Pont Et Chausses [ENPC Paris], A Degree in International Sales & Marketing from NIS India and Bachelor of Commerce from University of Burdwan. He lives in Sydney, Australia and enjoys swimming, flying and studying the twin sciences of Astrology & Palmistry in his free time

Darshana Joshi
Darshana joined Innovative Ventures in 2008 focusing on investments in IT enabled services and Web Technologies. She is a board member for www.LaptopTables.com.au & Newcomers Australia. Darshana was most recently the Program Lead for Enterprise Transformation (Internal Consulting) for Rail Corp, Sydney Australia.
Having excelled in project management and strategic consulting roles all through her professional career while working for companies like Tata Interactive Systems, Qantas, Hutchison 3G Australia, Vodafone and RailCorp; Darshana; is proud to be the co-founder of Innovative Ventures Technology Fund.
Her strategic vision and her ability to take an idea from conception to reality have helped her steer our Laptop Tables online retail firm & Newcomers Australia on a rapid growth path. Astute in negotiations, she ensures that all initiatives and investments at Innovative Ventures are successfully nurtured to profitability
